Thomastown Website

As you know Thomastown parish website is currently being worked on to update the site with news and information. All the events of the parish and any news sent into us will be included on this site. It is a great point of contact for us all. Or why not tell your friends and family who have travelled from Thomastown? – It could be a way to keep in touch with what is happening locally.

Why not subscribe, a new feature coming to the website soon: Just add your email and receive automatic emails each time a new event is added to the site. This can help you keep in touch with what is happening here in Thomastown. If you would like anything included in the site please email thomastown@ossory.ie

Twitter Have you tweeted yet? Do you follow the odd tweet? If so you can now follow Thomastown Parish. Updates, notices, news, events, and maybe even the odd reflective thought will now be tweeted as soon as they happen. Follow us @TtownParish

Calendar Life is busy, there is a lot going on here. It is what makes living here in Thomastown so enjoyable. Part of the new parish website is a calendar of events. If you have something going on why not use the online form to submit an event to the calendar. It will be uploaded to the site. Those who have subscribed to the site will get an automatic email with the details of your event – and a tweet or two as well! If your club or group are arranging something then you can post the details here – www.thomastownparish.ie/submit-an-event

Facebook A parish is ultimately about bringing people together. It is what we do: we come together to celebrate, to pray, to share news and to support each other. But how we come together has, in the modern world, changed a lot. Social media has revolutionised the way many people do this. To try to make this coming together easier for us all, and in a way that is appropriate for some, we are launching a parish Facebook page. Why not find it… and join us there… and add us on your friends list!!

Radio Can’t make mass? Not to worry you can follow any event in the parish church on the radio. Tune into fm 108 any time there is something in the church and be part of what is happening.
